Senior Associate – Regulatory & Advisory Law Practice

About the role

We are supporting a nationally recognised law firm that is expanding its Regulatory & Advisory practice. The Senior Associate will join a team of specialist lawyers delivering high‑profile advice to corporates, public bodies and regulated organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic regulatory advice across financial services, health & social care and health & safety sectors.
• Manage contentious matters, including FCA investigations and public inquiries.
• Develop and nurture client relationships to generate new business.
• Contribute to the growth of the practice through business development initiatives.
• Mentor junior lawyers and support team collaboration.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with several years of experience in one or more of the listed specialist areas.
• Strong technical and commercial judgement.
• Proven track record of building lasting client relationships.
• Ambition to progress towards partnership.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., FCA, health & safety legislation).
• Excellent analytical and advisory abilities.
• Effective communication with senior executives and regulators.
