Senior Associate, Restructuring & Insolvency

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join KR8 Advisory’s Restructuring & Insolvency practice in Leeds. The role involves managing a diverse portfolio of restructuring engagements, including administrations, liquidations, CVAs and accelerated M&A processes for SMEs and mid‑market corporates.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end insolvency appointments such as administrations, liquidations (solvent and insolvent) and CVAs.
• Support accelerated M&A processes and business advisory projects.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify assets, liabilities and secured lender positions.
• Engage with clients, lenders, legal advisers and other stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Senior Managers and Directors to add commercial value.

Required profile

• Proven experience in formal insolvency appointments (administrations, liquidations, CVAs).
• Strong commercial mindset and confidence in client and stakeholder interactions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organised with ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Ideally progressing towards or holding an ACA/ACCA qualification or a Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency (CPI).

Required skills

• Financial statement analysis.
• Understanding of insolvency legislation and procedures.
