Senior / Associate Urban & Landscape Designer

About the role

An award-winning, employee-owned design practice delivering architecture, urban design and landscape solutions across international markets is recruiting a Senior or Associate Urban & Landscape Designer for its London studio. The role leads masterplanning and public realm projects, grows a dedicated landscape group and bridges masterplanning and landscape design. Candidates with a landscape consultancy background are particularly encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design development on large-scale urban and landscape projects.
• Drive innovative public realm and landscape solutions and shape the vision for projects and teams.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment with urban designers, architects and other consultants.
• Contribute to strategic project planning and masterplanning initiatives.
• Mentor and support junior staff in a dedicated landscape group.
• Ensure design quality and sustainable best practices across all projects.

Required profile

• Professional qualification in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design or a related field.
• 5-10 years' professional experience, ideally including international and Middle East projects.
• Proven track record in public realm design, landscape solutions and masterplanning.
• Experience from a landscape consultancy is a strong advantage.
• Independent, proactive and able to work at pace, with excellent communication and leadership potential.

Required skills

• Strong software and drawing skills with proficiency in relevant design tools.
