Senior Auditor – Global Payment Network

About the role

Capital One UK is looking for an experienced Senior Auditor to join its Global Payment Network audit team. Working in a hybrid model (three days on‑site in London, two days remote), you will help ensure the operational and compliance integrity of our payment‑network business.

Key responsibilities

• Own and complete components of payment‑network audit engagements.
• Develop engagement planning documentation, scope rationale, and audit programs.
• Design and execute audit procedures to test internal controls and assess risk.
• Analyse evidence, document processes, and identify potential issues.
• Leverage data and analytical tools during planning and fieldwork.
• Prepare clear documentation of findings and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with business partners and the wider Audit group.
• Prioritise work, manage multiple tasks, and support the team with additional assignments.

Required profile

• Fully qualified auditor or equivalent experience.
• Experience in risk assessments or audits within payment networks.
• Proven track record delivering internal or external audit projects.
• Strong focus on quality, timeliness, and continuous learning.
