Senior Authorised Person (SAP) – Private Networks Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Authorised Person (SAP) or High Voltage (HV) Manager to establish and lead our new in‑house Private Networks capability. This is a unique chance to build an HV function from the ground up, supported by an established sister company.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead for all High Voltage operations within the business.
• Perform SAP duties and ensure safe delivery of HV works.
• Transition the delivery model from subcontractors to an internal HV team.
• Develop procedures, standards and operational processes for the HV function.
• Identify future resource needs, recruit and build a dedicated HV team.
• Manage relationships with clients, contractors and key stakeholders.
• Support project planning, delivery and commercial objectives.

Required profile

• Current SAP holder or HV Manager with retained SAP authorisations.
• Proven experience in HV operational environments and a desire to move into broader leadership.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage projects and budgets.
• Passion for developing people, processes and business capability.

Required skills

• High Voltage systems and safety knowledge.
• SAP authorisation and compliance expertise.
