Senior Automation Test Analyst (Hybrid, Redhill)

About the role

The Senior Automation Test Analyst will support the delivery of applications and systems for SCUK, ensuring they meet the highest quality and reliability standards before going live. This hybrid role requires at least three days per week in the Redhill office and involves both technical leadership and day‑to‑day team management.

Key responsibilities

• Define, design and implement automation strategies and frameworks in line with architectural guidelines.
• Schedule and coordinate automation activities to maximise coverage while minimising risk and duration.
• Lead and mentor non‑senior automation team members, providing supervisory support.
• Collaborate with Test Manager, product managers, developers and stakeholders to plan and execute automation projects.
• Develop, code and run moderately complex automation scripts, recording results and reporting outcomes.
• Drive continuous integration flows and troubleshoot system issues to maintain quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in software development and testing lifecycles for Agile and non‑Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of software quality assurance activities, tools and techniques.
• Ability to manage multiple automation projects and deliver consistent, high‑quality results.
• Excellent communication skills to interpret requirements and mentor team members.
