Senior AV Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Senior AV Technician to join a leading events management business on a permanent basis. You will work on corporate live events, primarily on weekdays with occasional weekends, providing technical expertise to ensure flawless execution.

Key responsibilities

• Review job specifications with colleagues to confirm equipment suitability.
• liaise with clients, brief and coordinate on‑site crew.
• Set up, install and operate AV equipment at live venues.
• Plan and coordinate rigging and de‑rigging activities.
• Maintain on‑site AV gear and manage a small storage area.

Required profile

• Proven experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting LED video walls.
• Technical competence in sound, video and a solid understanding of lighting for live events.
• Background in live‑event technical roles, either as employee or freelancer.
• Experience leading teams or crews on‑site.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
