About the role

We are a fast‑growing ed‑tech startup building ML‑powered learning platforms that deliver high‑quality, personalised education at scale. As a Senior Backend Python Developer you will join a small team of experts to design and implement the next generation of intelligent learning systems for millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop highly scalable backend services that support millions of active users.
• Create and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable releases.
• Collaborate with machine‑learning engineers to build data pipelines and deploy predictive models.
• Analyse large datasets and implement real‑time recommendation engines.
• Work with diverse media types—including text, video, and images—to enrich learning experiences.
• Partner closely with mobile engineers, product managers, designers, and ML teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.

Required profile

• Strong product‑oriented problem‑solving mindset.
• Proven experience designing, building, and scaling high‑load applications from scratch.
• Deep knowledge of AWS cloud services and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
• Degree or Master’s in Computer Science or a related field from a top‑tier university.
