Senior Billing Analyst – High‑Volume Multi‑Contract Environment

About the role

This senior position is based in Leatherhead and focuses on managing end‑to‑end billing for a fast‑paced, high‑volume operation. You will ensure accurate invoicing across multiple contracts while supporting cash‑flow performance and driving process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full billing and invoicing cycles for multiple contracts.
• Prepare and submit Applications for Payment (AFP) within agreed timescales.
• Work closely with operational teams to reduce and clear WIP at month‑end.
• Handle invoice queries and resolve them with relevant stakeholders.
• Support credit control activities and provide cover when needed.
• Monitor daily contract activity, perform billing calculations and reconciliations.
• Conduct month‑end billing checks and clear unbilled work.
• Identify and implement efficiency and accuracy improvements.
• Maintain internal systems, including Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
• Produce ad‑hoc reports and respond to internal information requests.

Required profile

• Proven billing experience in a high‑volume, multi‑contract environment.
• Strong understanding of financial data and billing processes.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Ability to manage heavy workloads and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and resilient.
