Senior Billing Analyst – £31,000 per annum

About the role

Reed is seeking an experienced Senior Billing Analyst to join its fast‑paced, high‑volume team in Leatherhead. You will own the full billing lifecycle, ensuring accurate invoicing across multiple contracts while supporting cash‑flow performance and operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end billing and invoicing for multiple contracts.
• Prepare and submit Applications for Payment (AFP) within agreed timescales.
• Work closely with operational teams to reduce and clear WIP at month‑end.
• Handle invoice queries and resolve them swiftly with stakeholders.
• Support credit control activities and provide cover when needed.
• Monitor daily contract activity, perform billing calculations and reconciliations.
• Conduct month‑end billing checks and clear unbilled work.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain internal systems, including Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
• Produce ad‑hoc reports and respond to internal information requests.

Required profile

• Proven billing experience in a high‑volume, multi‑contract environment.
• Strong understanding of financial data and billing processes.
• Ability to manage heavy workloads and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and resilient.
