Senior Billings Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Billings Analyst to join the busy accounts department of an established family‑run business in Leatherhead. You will own the end‑to‑end billing and invoicing process for multiple contracts, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve jobs for payment (AFP) and raise invoices.
• Create customer payment applications and invoice clients within agreed SLA.
• Assist with work‑in‑progress month‑end reductions and clearing.
• Liaise with the Credit Manager to maintain positive cash flow.
• Monitor invoice status and follow up to guarantee payment within contractual terms.

Required profile

• GCSE English and Maths (grade 4 or above) or equivalent.
• AAT qualification or strong progress towards it.
• Previous experience in an accounts role, preferably with client billing, sales ledger and bookkeeping duties.
• Analytical or auditing experience.

Required skills

• Intermediate Microsoft Excel – comfortable with VLOOKUP and Pivot tables.
• Experience of NAVision (ideal) and other Microsoft Office applications.
