About the role
We are partnering with a fast‑growing lender to recruit a Senior Bridging Underwriter for its London office. The role sits within the underwriting team and is responsible for managing risk and ensuring smooth draw‑down of bridging finance to borrowers.
Key responsibilities
- Liaise with valuers, solicitors and intermediaries to gather necessary information.
- Ensure all loan files are complete, accurate and meet the company’s lending criteria.
- Prepare and complete credit paperwork accurately.
- Maintain professional and knowledgeable communication throughout the process.
- Collaborate with sales and other business units to progress deals efficiently.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Bridging Underwriter.
- Strong analytical and methodical thinking.
- Ability to take ownership of assignments and deliver high‑quality service.
