Senior Building Surveyor – Exeter (Hybrid)

About the role

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join a large multidisciplinary property consultancy based in Exeter. The role offers hybrid working, flexible hours, APC support and a clear pathway to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage building surveying projects from inception to completion, including specifications, tenders and planning applications.
• Oversee contract administration and delivery across multiple sites in Devon and Somerset.
• Conduct site visits, progress meetings and client briefings.
• Mentor junior staff and maintain strong client relationships.
• Deliver projects across heritage, education, commercial and public sectors.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Building Surveyor with strong project‑running capability.
• Ability to work autonomously within a consultancy environment.
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
• Commitment to professional development and chartership.
