Senior Building Surveyor – Liverpool

About the role

Fantastic opportunity to join a leading international consultancy expanding its Liverpool office as a Senior Building Surveyor. You will work on high‑profile projects across education, retail, health, energy, commercial and public sectors, delivering first‑class surveying services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies, produce specifications and obtain estimates for refurbishment projects.
• Secure statutory approvals and administer contracts using standard forms such as JCT and NEC.
• Manage multiple projects across various sectors, delivering improvement and modernisation works.
• Mentor and train junior surveyors, providing support for the RICS APC programme.
• Assist senior managers with day‑to‑day activities and business development.

Required profile

• MRICS chartered status (highly desirable) with strong technical surveying knowledge.
• Significant experience in building surveying and client relationship management.
• Proven commercial awareness, profitability focus and business development capability.
• Experience in mentoring, training and coaching team members.
• Full understanding of health and safety requirements and statutory compliance.
