Senior Business Analyst – FX Payments & Execution

About the role

We are supporting a leading investment banking client in building and enhancing their FX technology and change function. As a Senior Business Analyst you will work across the full project lifecycle, acting as the key link between business stakeholders and technology delivery teams. The role covers initiatives on FX Payments, FX Execution and FX Pricing platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology delivery teams.
• Gather, analyse and document business requirements for enhancements and changes across FX platforms.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories for development teams.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement‑gathering sessions and stakeholder meetings.
• Manage and maintain delivery backlogs, ensuring priorities align with business objectives.
• Define and support test scenarios, UAT activities and release validation.
• Track project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and provide regular stakeholder updates.
• Coordinate delivery across multiple teams and regions where required.
• Support broader change initiatives across FX technology and business functions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst within Financial Markets environments.
• Strong knowledge of FX products and markets, including Spot, Forwards and NDFs.
• Experience supporting FX Payments, FX Execution or FX Pricing platforms.
• Proven track record of bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams.
• Strong requirements‑gathering, process‑mapping and functional specification experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and comfortably in a fast‑paced delivery environment.
