Senior Business Development Manager – 12 Month FTC

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join a leading international law firm on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role supports the firm’s global disputes and contentious regulatory practice, driving business development and marketing initiatives across an international network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic BD and marketing plans to grow the practice’s client base.
• Identify and target prospective clients, prepare and deliver pitches, and manage thought‑leadership campaigns.
• Coordinate and lead events, webinars and profile‑raising activities.
• Collaborate with partners, senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to align business opportunities.
• Manage and develop a small BD team, ensuring high‑quality delivery and effective collaboration.

Required profile

• Proven track record in business development within professional services or legal sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen and proactive approach to client acquisition.
• Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Experience managing people and delivering marketing campaigns.
