Senior Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth across London and the Thames Valley. You will lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, while building strong relationships with customers and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify new markets, customers, and partnership opportunities.
• Own the end‑to‑end sales process, generating leads and securing contracts.
• Meet clients face‑to‑face or via Teams, understand their needs and propose tailored solutions.
• Lead bid writing, contract negotiations and support the sales‑marketing strategy.
• Collaborate with operations, finance and other departments to onboard new customers.
• Attend industry events to expand the business network.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends.

Required profile

• Proven track record in B2B sales and international deliveries.
• Strong commercial awareness and a results‑driven mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal, networking and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to set and achieve personal targets.
• Adaptable to a fast‑paced, changing environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheets.
• Experience using a CRM system.

What we offer

• £50,000 base salary.
• Car allowance and commission.
