About the role
A recruitment agency is recruiting a Senior Buyer for one of the UK's leading and most trusted brands of hardware accessories. The family-run business has been active for almost 40 years, focusing on innovation, high-quality products and customer service. The role is based in High Wycombe and is permanent.
Key responsibilities
- Provide operational support through excellent sourcing, negotiation and purchasing of products and services
- Develop and build strong relationships with suppliers in the Far East
- Source new and bespoke products
- Set up contracts and work with UK manufacturers (up to £5m spend)
Required profile
- Strong import experience and understanding of buying from India
- Strong understanding of dealing with Indian suppliers and their culture
- UK-based candidate; no sponsorship is offered
