Senior Care Assistant (Bank) – Care Home

About the role

As a Bank Senior Care Assistant in a Barchester care home you will help deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care for residents. You will work closely with the Deputy General Manager and a team of dedicated Care Assistants, supporting clinical activities and ensuring a warm, welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, motivate and support a team of Care Assistants.
• Assist the Deputy General Manager in day‑to‑day operations.
• Provide clinical support in areas such as medication administration, assessments, care plans and care reviews.
• Deliver care that respects each resident’s dignity, preferences and individuality.
• Contribute to a vibrant, safe and caring home atmosphere.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
• Demonstrated knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
• Compassionate, warm‑hearted and committed to individualized resident support.
