Senior Care Assistant – Bank (Flexible, Part‑time)

About the role
This casual, part‑time Bank Senior Care Assistant role offers flexible working within a Barchester care home in Falmouth. You will support residents by delivering person‑centred care while helping to maintain a warm, welcoming environment.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
- Support the clinical team in areas such as medication administration, assessments, care plans and care reviews.
- Ensure the dignity, preferences and wellbeing of each resident are respected at all times.
- Provide cover for staff absences, including annual leave and sick leave, as required.
Required profile
- NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
- Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
- Warm‑hearted, compassionate and committed to delivering individualised care.
Required skills
- Clinical care knowledge for elderly residents.
- Ability to supervise and mentor junior staff.
