Senior Care Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Care Assistant to join our luxury care home in Church Lawton. The role involves guiding a team to deliver safe, high‑quality, person‑centred care for up to 60 residents across residential, dementia, nursing and respite services.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and support the care team to ensure safe, high‑quality care delivery.
• Oversee shift operations, ensuring care is well organised and consistent.
• Administer medication and monitor residents’ wellbeing, responding to any changes.
• Maintain accurate care records and ensure clear communication with families and healthcare professionals.
• Work alternate weekends as part of the rota.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum); Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards it.
• Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• A caring, compassionate and professional approach.

Required skills

• Medication administration (competency required).

What we offer

• £13.71 per hour, contracted to 33 hours per week.
