Senior Care Assistant

About the role

The Senior Care Assistant will act as a mentor and supervisor for Home Care Assistants, bridging the office (or home‑based) environment with community‑based support. You will work closely with the office team to maintain high care standards and support the development of our service.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a high‑level care service, including personal, social and housekeeping support.
• Supervise a team of carers, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
• Ensure service delivery aligns with Audley policies, procedures and practices.
• Provide in‑house training to care assistants and sign off competence when standards are met.
• Support the introduction of new clients and the expansion of services into new areas.
• Carry out duties assigned by the Registered Manager.

Required profile

• Ability to inspire, develop and mentor a team of carers.
• Passion for delivering high‑standard, compliant care services.
• NVQ Level 3 or Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards).
• At least 1 year of experience in domiciliary care.
• Full driving licence with access to a personal vehicle.
