Senior Care Assistant – Luxury Care Home

About the role
As a Senior Care Assistant in a private luxury care home, you will lead and support your team to deliver safe, high‑quality, person‑centred care for up to 88 residents. You will ensure each shift runs smoothly, with care organised, consistent, and of a high standard.
Key responsibilities
- Guide and support the care team throughout each shift.
- Oversee medication administration and monitor residents’ wellbeing.
- Respond promptly to changes in residents’ conditions to maintain safe care.
- Maintain accurate care records and ensure clear communication with families and healthcare professionals.
- Coordinate with colleagues to guarantee continuity of care.
Required profile
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum); Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards it.
- Medication administration training with competency is essential.
- Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- A caring, compassionate, and professional approach.
Required skills
What we offer
- £14.00 per hour.
- 38.5–44 hours per week (full‑time temporary contract).
- Paid DBS check, pension scheme, uniform.
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (full‑time basis).
