Senior Care Assistant – Night Shift

About the role

Join Avery Healthcare at Fleet Hall Care Home as a Senior Care Assistant working night shifts. You will play a vital part in delivering compassionate, person‑centred care to elderly residents, ensuring their safety and wellbeing throughout the night.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor residents' health and wellbeing, updating care plans as required.
• Assist with medication administration and support residents' medication needs.
• Participate in person‑centred care planning and evaluations.
• Provide a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for all residents.
• Act as a key point of contact for residents, families, and external professionals.
• Conduct staff supervisions, support development and address concerns or complaints.

Required profile

• Warm, enthusiastic and dedicated attitude towards elderly care.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the care team.
• Strong communication skills with residents, families and colleagues.
• Commitment to high standards of personal care and safety.

Required skills

• Experience in residential care or similar setting.
• Knowledge of medication handling and care planning processes.
• Ability to observe and record resident wellbeing accurately.
