Senior Care Assistant Nights

About the role

As a Senior Care Assistant on the night shift you will guide and support your team to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care for residents in a luxurious private care facility. You will ensure the smooth running of the shift, oversee medication, monitor wellbeing and maintain accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care to residents during night hours.
• Oversee and administer medication safely and accurately.
• Monitor residents’ wellbeing, respond to changes and ensure safe care.
• Maintain accurate care records and handovers.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals.
• Lead the night shift team to ensure consistent, high-standard care delivery.

Required profile

• SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum); Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards it.
• Medication administration training with competency.
• Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• A caring, compassionate and professional approach.

What we offer

• £14.50 per hour (44 hours per week).
• Paid PVG, pension and uniform provided.
