Senior Care Worker – Part‑Time

About the role

As a Senior Care Worker you will ensure residents receive high‑quality, person‑centred care while guiding and supporting colleagues. Working a rotating shift pattern, including two out of three weekends, you will help create a safe and welcoming environment where residents can thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality care and support to residents
• Lead shifts and support the day‑to‑day running of the service
• Provide guidance and support to Care Workers
• Contribute to care planning, reviews and risk assessments
• Administer medication in line with policies and procedures
• Promote residents' independence, choice and wellbeing
• Maintain accurate records and uphold high standards of care

Required profile

• Experienced care professional with a genuine commitment to supporting older people
• Confident leader with strong communication, compassion and a positive approach
• SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare (willing to work towards or already hold SVQ Level 4)
• Member of the PVG Scheme and registered with the SSSC
