Senior Cargo Broker Support – Marine Team

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Cargo Broker Support professional to join a leading Lloyd's broker's Marine team in London. You will work closely with cargo brokers, underwriters and clients, providing technical and administrative assistance throughout the broking process.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical and administrative support to Cargo Brokers.
• Produce and process MRC slips, endorsements and other market documentation.
• Prepare accurate submission and placement paperwork for the London Market.
• Liaise with underwriters, clients and internal stakeholders during broking cycles.
• Manage renewals and mid‑term adjustments.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
• Support effective use of PPL and other London Market systems.

Required profile

• Previous experience in cargo broking support, broker support or a similar technician role.
• Strong knowledge of cargo insurance and the London Market.
• Proven ability to create and process MRC slips and endorsements.
• Experience using PPL/e‑Placement systems.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage competing priorities.
