Senior Chef de Partie – Modern British Restaurant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Chef de Partie to join a highly regarded Modern British restaurant on the outskirts of Billericay. The kitchen operates to a 2AA Rosette standard, using fresh seasonal produce and contemporary cooking techniques. A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle are required due to the remote location.

Key responsibilities

• Run your own section confidently, delivering dishes to a 2AA Rosette quality.
• Prepare and present plates using high‑quality seasonal ingredients.
• Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs during service.
• Mentor and support junior kitchen staff.
• Maintain rigorous food hygiene, safety and presentation standards.
• Assist in the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the kitchen.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Chef de Partie or an experienced Chef de Partie in a quality fresh‑food restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of seasonal ingredients and modern British cuisine.
• Organised, calm under pressure and proud of consistently high‑quality output.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.

• Basic salary £35,000–£37,000 per year.
