Senior Children & Families Lawyer – Remote – £55+/hr

About the role
We are seeking a Senior Lawyer with specialist experience in Children & Families law to join a public law team on a long‑term contract. The role is fully remote and offers an immediate start.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of Section 31 and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) matters for the council.
- Ensure safeguarding and statutory duties are met in line with public law requirements.
- Provide timely, high‑quality legal, tactical and strategic advice to the client.
- Deliver strong advocacy to achieve the best outcomes for service users.
Required profile
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or CILEX lawyer.
- Proven experience in Children & Families law, particularly Section 31 and DoLS cases.
- Available to start within 2‑3 weeks.
