Senior Client Development Executive

About the role

The Senior Client Development Executive will support the Client Development Manager in delivering the Technology, Consumer & Sport (TCS) sector strategy for a leading UK law firm. This permanent position combines marketing planning, client targeting, and business development to drive growth across the firm’s transactional practice groups.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the CDM in implementing the TCS sector strategy, including marketing, relationship development and business planning.
• Prepare and update business planning and budgeting materials, produce meeting notes and follow up on action points.
• Maintain an overview of TCS priorities, partner leads, and progress against objectives.
• Track major case successes, new client instructions and manage matter collation for team reporting.
• Maintain priority client and prospect lists, coordinate follow‑up activities and support partners in progressing opportunities.
• Lead selected TCS relationship initiatives such as sector campaigns and follow‑up actions.
• Collaborate with the wider Client Development team to identify cross‑selling opportunities and priority targets.
• Monitor campaign budgets and ensure adherence to agreed financial limits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a marketing or client development role, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
