Senior Client Operations Associate

About the role

This senior position sits within the Client Services Department of a leading investment management firm in the City of London. You will be responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day operational flow, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and supporting junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritise and monitor daily workload across the Client Services team, escalating issues when required.
• Review complex work completed by Associates and Assistants, acting as the first point of escalation for operational queries.
• Approve data‑change requests, handling sensitive client bank details and adviser relationships with strict accuracy.
• Conduct final reviews of client onboarding, due‑diligence checks and sign‑offs, and oversee encashments and transfers processed by junior staff.
• Validate cash‑management entries and act as first‑line approver for CASS‑compliant client money and asset reconciliations.
• Oversee investment transaction processing (subscriptions and withdrawals) ensuring compliance with procedures and deadlines.
• Produce and distribute regular reports to clients, advisers and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Significant experience in investment operations, including onboarding, dealing, cash management and reconciliations.
• Proven ability to support and mentor junior colleagues in a client‑focused environment.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and control when handling sensitive information.
• Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines.
