Senior Cloud Developer, Unified Supply Chain

About the role

AVEVA is looking for a Senior Cloud Developer to join the Unified Supply Chain R&D team in Cambridge. You will design, build and operate a cutting‑edge SaaS scheduling solution for the oil and gas industry, working within the AVEVA CONNECT industrial intelligence platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of highly available and scalable SaaS platform services in Azure.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation using Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with technical members of the AVEVA CONNECT Platform enabling teams.
• Proactively identify and communicate technical issues, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of core Azure services (compute, storage, security, monitoring, diagnostics).
• Experience with Kubernetes container orchestration, especially Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Highly proficient in C# and experienced in developing microservices and RESTful APIs within a CI/CD environment.
• Proactive, self‑starting attitude with an ownership mentality.
