Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer – AWS/IaaS

About the role

Accenture is seeking a senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to join its Birmingham team. You will design, implement and maintain automated infrastructure solutions across Azure and AWS environments, supporting both cloud‑native and hybrid workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and operate integrated automation pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins and Git.
• Build, containerise and orchestrate applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement DevSecOps practices, including secret management and privilege controls.
• Define the roadmap for DevOps adoption and align it with business and technical objectives.
• Collaborate with ITSM teams using ServiceNow for incident, change and problem management.
• Create operational dashboards and reports in Power BI.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience with Solaris, Linux or Windows environments.
• Associate‑level cloud certification in Azure or AWS.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure and AWS compute, networking, storage and security services.
• Proven ability to design CI/CD solutions for enterprise‑wide deployments.
