Senior CNC Programmer – Precision Engineering

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior CNC Programmer to join our precision engineering team in Tewkesbury. You will work with modern Doosan and Star sliding‑head machines to produce high‑volume stainless‑steel components for global customers.

Key responsibilities

• Program CNC machines using Fanuc controls.
• Create and modify CNC programmes from engineering drawings.
• Set up, prove out and optimise new jobs.
• Select tools, calculate tooling offsets and perform machine set‑up.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to meet tight tolerances.
• Maintain high quality standards and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven CNC programming experience, preferably in turning.
• Hands‑on experience with Fanuc controls and live tooling.
• Ability to set up and prove out CNC jobs independently.
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience in a precision engineering environment.
