Senior Compliance Manager – Financial Services

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Compliance Manager to lead the compliance function across our UK entities. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will combine strategic oversight with day‑to‑day operational leadership, ensuring regulatory standards are met and risk is managed effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Head of Compliance & MLRO in implementing and maintaining the company’s compliance framework.
• Lead day‑to‑day compliance oversight, including intermediary oversight, monitoring and regulatory implementation.
• Conduct compliance reviews and manage remediation activities across the UK.
• Provide deputising support for the Head of Compliance as required.
• Travel nationally to support Regional Compliance Managers, engage stakeholders and represent the function.
• Prepare reports for senior management and governance committees.

Required profile

• Degree‑level education, preferably in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Extensive experience in compliance, risk or internal audit within financial services.
• Deep knowledge of FCA regulations, Consumer Duty and the UK regulatory framework.
• Proven track record in intermediary oversight and second‑line monitoring.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across all organisational levels.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.

• Experience with compliance monitoring tools and methodologies.
• Ability to produce clear written reports for senior audiences.
