Senior Construction Planner / Delay Analyst

About the role

Our client, a leading construction consultancy, is seeking an experienced Construction Planner / Delay Analyst to support a busy team working on high‑profile developments across Scotland. You will be a key member of the Scottish team, delivering accurate planning outputs for complex projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain critical path schedules using Primavera P6 or Asta Planning.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑contract tender planning for projects exceeding £10M.
• Analyse delays and predict construction outputs with precision.
• Collaborate with internal colleagues and external clients on commercial and public‑sector schemes.
• Produce detailed schedule reports and visualisations for senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of senior construction planning experience with a recognised contractor or consultancy.
• LLM qualification in Construction Law is highly desirable.
• Proven experience on complex commercial or public‑sector projects.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
