Senior Construction Project Manager – Brighton

About the role

This senior construction project manager role supports the growth of our client’s mixed‑use, residential and commercial schemes in Brighton. You will act as the technical anchor for developments, leading project delivery while fostering client relationships and mentoring the local team.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full project life‑cycle, ensuring compliance with time, budget and quality standards.
• Serve as primary client liaison, driving repeat business through strong relationships and market knowledge.
• Provide technical consultancy across pre‑ and post‑contract stages, managing complex contracts such as NEC, JCT and ICC.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, manage budgets, cost control and value engineering.
• Support the Project Management Partner by mentoring junior staff and promoting a collaborative office culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction consultancy or client‑side project management, preferably across mixed‑use, residential or commercial sectors.
• Relevant construction‑related degree and professional qualification (e.g., MCIOB, MRICS, MAPM) is desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and high‑level project teams.
