Senior Construction Solicitor

About the role

Join a UK Top‑50 law firm renowned for its construction practice. As a Senior Construction Solicitor you will focus on contentious construction disputes, advising clients on matters arising under standard contracts such as JCT and NEC and representing them in adjudication, litigation, arbitration and other ADR proceedings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on disputes arising from JCT, NEC and other industry‑standard construction contracts.
• Represent clients in adjudication, court litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution forums.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships across public and private sectors.
• Contribute to the growth of the construction team by mentoring junior lawyers and supporting business development.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 6 years PQE.
• Significant experience in contentious construction law, including dispute resolution.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to build trusted client relationships.
• Experience gained in a regional, national, City or international firm is highly advantageous.
