Senior Consultant – JD Edwards Functional Distribution & Finance

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its Managed Services team and provide functional expertise for JD Edwards (JDE) Distribution and Finance modules. You will support global clients, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement across ERP initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day functional support for JD Edwards Distribution modules, meeting SLA targets.
• Troubleshoot system issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
• Identify and recommend process‑improvement and automation opportunities.
• Guide business users on JDE best practices and standard processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including CNC, developers, and DBAs—to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Participate in ERP initiatives such as new implementations, upgrades, and functional enhancements.
• Develop functional specifications for custom reports, interfaces, and system enhancements.
• Perform system and integration testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Provide post‑implementation support, end‑user training, and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of JD Edwards application support or functional consulting experience, focusing on Distribution modules.
• Strong understanding of distribution business processes and operational workflows.
• Hands‑on experience with Warehouse Management or related JDE modules is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with experienced JDE end users and adapt to diverse client environments.
