Senior Contracts Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our Supply Chain Management team in Liverpool. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring contractual accuracy, managing commercial risk and supporting strategic supplier relationships within a fast‑paced public‑service environment.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and manage all contractual documentation for supplier mobilisation, management and close‑down.
• Draft, coordinate and administer Heads of Agreement and formal contracts.
• Create robust back‑to‑back contracts that reflect customer outcomes, terms, conditions and commercial requirements.
• Translate negotiated commercial arrangements into clear contractual documentation.
• Liaise with colleagues, suppliers, partners and subcontractors to ensure contracts reflect complex arrangements.
• Protect organisational interests through effective drafting and administration.
• Monitor compliance with contractual obligations and requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or in a similar procurement, supply chain or subcontractor management role.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for contractual accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and manage commercial risk.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
