Senior Contracts Manager – Surrey/West London/Hampshire

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established main contractor to recruit a Senior Contracts Manager. You will lead multiple high‑value schemes (£4‑30 million) across Surrey, West London and Hampshire, overseeing the full project lifecycle from early pre‑construction involvement to successful delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects across Surrey, West London and Hampshire.
• Take a lead role from pre‑construction through to project completion.
• Support project planning, buildability reviews, logistics and programme development.
• Develop, manage and review project programmes using Asta Powerproject.
• Manage schemes delivered under JCT and Design & Build contracts.
• Collaborate with pre‑construction, commercial, design, planning and site teams, as well as clients and consultants.
• Lead project teams, support Project Managers and Site Managers, review progress and manage risk.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, commercially and on schedule.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a lead contracts role for a Tier 1 or large main contractor.
• Strong background delivering social housing, education, leisure and mixed public/private sector schemes.
• Comfortable working closely with clients, consultants and internal teams from early stages.
• Ability to shape projects before they reach the site.
• Solid understanding of project programming and risk management.
