About the role
We are seeking a Senior Customs Brokerage Agent to join our team under the Brokerage Manager. The role ensures the timely and accurate movement of freight and information while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and process shipping documents.
- Prepare customs entries using Customsware or other customs software.
- Apply import and export customs standard operating procedures.
- Enter data accurately and promptly into operational systems.
- Secure timely customs clearance of shipments.
- Monitor clearance status and communicate updates to customers.
- Handle billing and accounting tasks, ensuring accurate invoicing and charge provisioning.
Required profile
- Proven experience in the global logistics or customs brokerage sector.
- Strong knowledge of import and export customs processes.
- Fluent English communication skills.
Required skills
- Customsware or comparable customs entry software.
- Microsoft Excel.
- Microsoft Word.
