Senior Cyber Security Specialist

About the role

The Senior Cyber Security Specialist will lead the Threat Intelligence Lab in turning complex cyber threat data into clear, actionable decisions. Working at the intersection of intelligence analysis, data engineering and supplier risk, you will protect a critical part of the UK’s national infrastructure for Lloyds Banking Group.

Key responsibilities

• Transform how threat intelligence is gathered, enriched and analysed using modern CTI tooling and structured analytic techniques.
• Enhance and exploit intelligence platforms, including graph‑based models and threat intelligence graphs, to contextualise multi‑source data.
• Convert complex threat data into high‑quality, decision‑focused intelligence that supports risk management, incident response and strategic security outcomes.
• Identify and analyse threats targeting suppliers and third‑party ecosystems, strengthening supply‑chain risk detection and response.
• Drive continuous improvement of CTI processes, automation, data integration and advanced analytics.
• Collaborate with cyber, technology and business partners to embed intelligence outputs into daily decision‑making.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in cyber threat intelligence, data engineering or related security domains.
• Proven ability to work in a hybrid environment and adapt to flexible working arrangements.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on delivering actionable security insights.
• Experience influencing risk management and incident response across large organisations.
