Senior Data Analyst – Hybrid (Glasgow)

About the role

We are seeking a senior‑level Data Analyst to join a forward‑thinking, data‑driven organisation in Glasgow. The role is hybrid, allowing part‑time remote work while collaborating with a high‑performing team that places data at the heart of every business decision.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse large, complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns and actionable insights.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports and visualisations for senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high‑impact analysis.
• Develop and maintain robust data models and reporting frameworks.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality, processes and analytical capability.
• Present findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Contribute to the wider data strategy and shape future data usage.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst in a fast‑paced, professional environment.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL (essential).
• Strong experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker.
• Proficiency in Python or R for analysis and automation.
• Experience with cloud‑based data platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Excellent analytical thinking and ability to translate complex data into business recommendations.
• Outstanding communication skills for presenting insights to senior stakeholders.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
