Senior Data Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join a fast‑growing, technology‑driven investment and asset management organisation in London. The role sits within the Data & Analytics team and will help shape the company’s analytics capability, turning data into actionable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver insightful analysis and reporting that supports strategic and operational decision‑making.
• Design, build and maintain Tableau dashboards and self‑service reporting solutions.
• Analyse large, complex datasets and communicate findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Partner with senior business leaders to identify performance‑improvement opportunities through data‑driven insights.
• Mentor and develop junior analysts, fostering growth within the analytics function.
• Contribute to commercial initiatives by identifying ways to enhance services, improve outcomes and drive business value.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior‑level data analyst with strong commercial awareness.
• Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and translate technical concepts into business impact.
• Track record of mentoring junior team members and supporting team development.
• Passion for leveraging data to influence decision‑making and drive organisational growth.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL for working with large, complex datasets.
• Extensive Tableau experience, including dashboard development and visualisation best practices.
• Strong Python skills for data analysis, automation and reporting.
• Hands‑on experience with Snowflake and modern cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and dbt.
