Senior Data Analyst – London

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our growing data and analytics function in London. This permanent position offers a hybrid working pattern (2‑3 days in the office) and a salary up to £55k plus benefits. You will combine hands‑on analytical work with team‑leadership responsibilities, shaping how data drives decisions across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex analyses and support strategic business initiatives.
• Shape data usage and champion data‑led decision‑making across the company.
• Manage and mentor a small team of analysts, fostering their development.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to improve processes and identify automation opportunities.
• Ensure data quality, validation and governance throughout projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading or owning data and analytics projects.
• Strong analytical skills with Python (or a similar programming language).
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Knowledge of data modelling, cleansing and enrichment techniques.
• Understanding of data quality assurance, validation and governance principles.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
• Previous experience mentoring or leading analysts.
