Senior Data Architect – Data & AI Advisory

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Data Architect to join a specialist advisory firm operating at the intersection of financial services and technology. This senior technical leadership position will shape and govern enterprise data architecture for analytics, reporting and AI use cases in a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Shape and evolve enterprise‑wide data architecture to align with strategic business objectives.
• Develop robust data designs that enable scalable analytics, reporting and AI capabilities.
• Define and embed architectural frameworks and standards across the data landscape.
• Provide governance and design assurance to ensure consistency, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Enable strong data management practices, including lineage and data quality.
• Contribute to strategic data roadmaps balancing short‑term delivery with long‑term goals.
• Ensure data platforms meet security, performance, resilience and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior data architecture role.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture principles, data modelling and platform design.
• Experience designing data solutions for analytics, reporting and machine‑learning use cases.
• Background working within regulated environments such as financial services, insurance or banking.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
