Senior Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Business Data team within Internal Technology. Working closely with the Lead Data Engineer, you will help build and operate a core enterprise data platform based on Microsoft Fabric, translating business needs into scalable, secure data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage a centrally governed data layer that unifies data from Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, SharePoint and SAP SuccessFactors.
• Support the Lead Data Engineer in designing scalable data flows and system integrations.
• Collaborate with internal business units and senior stakeholders to turn operational challenges into technical specifications.
• Establish governance processes, security policies and engineering standards for the platform.
• Mentor junior team members and promote best‑practice delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of proven data engineering experience.
• Hands‑on expertise with Microsoft Fabric, SQL and Python/PySpark notebooks.
• Strong background in dimensional modeling, data governance and extracting data from SaaS platforms via APIs.
• Excellent analytical ability and a proactive, delivery‑focused attitude.
