Senior Data Engineer

About the role
Take the lead on high‑impact data projects as a Senior Data Engineer in London. You will help design and build a modern data platform using cloud technologies and large‑scale datasets, working closely with data scientists and engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines on Databricks using the Medallion Architecture.
- Implement data models and transformations in Python and SQL for analytics‑ready solutions.
- Integrate and optimise data workloads on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and Snowflake.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts and engineering teams to support AI/ML initiatives.
- Ensure data quality, performance and scalability of the data platform.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer, preferably at a senior level.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a hybrid environment.
- Experience delivering production‑grade data pipelines and platforms.
