Senior Data Engineer

About the role

Hi there! We're hiring a Senior Data Engineer to join our team. We’re building an AI‑native data platform and need someone to help scale it by building core pipelines, CI/CD processes, and shaping the data architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead improvements to our data infrastructure and architecture.
• Optimize query design and performance.
• Build monitoring for data pipelines and implement DataOps best practices.
• Partner with teams across Camunda to champion good data acquisition, storage, and stewardship practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of Data Engineering or Machine Learning experience.
• Strong data modeling skills and several years of experience with dbt.
• Experience deploying, operating, and evolving cloud data pipelines (batching and streaming).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Ownership mindset and strong communication skills.
